Dea. Michael Balfour

Deacon Michael Balfour accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour in his fifth year at Calabar High School and has maintained and defended his faith while pursuing a Bachelor's degree at the University of the West Indies and also throughout his professional career.

Since his induction into the Arlene Gardens family, he has been instrumental in assisting in developing the talents within the various singing groups at the church. He was also the Musical Director for several years.

His musical journey has been heavily influenced by mentorship from Pastor Donovan Cole of Calvary Gospel Assembly, and from membership in the Collegiate Chorale Ensemble and The Khords singing groups.

He is an Information Technology professional who worked for several years in the Hotel Industry and also with a top tier International Accounting firm in Jamaica. He is currently employed at one of Jamaica's highly acclaimed Electronic Security Firms.

He has been married to Paulette for 28 beautiful years and was a member of the Married Couples' Interaction (MCI) Ministry where he was invited on several occasions to deliver presentations at other churches and groups.

For a number of years he partnered with Paul Ramsay and produced the religious program "The Word For Today" that is still being aired on TBC Radio.

Michael has a great love for Internet Broadcasting and did so for a few years through the Married Couples' Interaction ministry's "MCI Radio".
